Test Chamber Refurbishment

When budgets do not stretch as far as allowing the purchase of new equipment, it is often viable to consider refurbishment of existing Test Chambers.

Older equipment can be brought up to current specification requirements; often with just the installation of a new control system and given the advances in technology it is now possible to install sophisticated systems at relatively low cost.

In our experience, if the thermal enclosure is in reasonable condition, even extensive refurbishment of the refrigeration plant and other mechanical systems can be carried out and still prove to be cost effective.

Our workshop personnel have gained considerable experience over the last 21 years in carrying out this type of work on chambers of all makes and models. We offer a full year’s warranty on all work we carry out and in some cases we can install new control systems on site, avoiding the need to transport the chamber back to our workshops and keeping the downtime to a minimum.
